Gallerie Ganesha
The Gallerie Ganesha offers a wide range of drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, serigraphs, lithographs, prints, and etchings which are created by renowned artists. The gallery was set up two decades ago and boasts of a successful track record of encouraging new talent. Some artists associated with Gallerie Ganesha have become famous internationally like Neeraj Goswami and Paresh Maity and others have been applauded for their work in the field of art. In the annual shows of the gallery painters and experts from olden times are shown with their art. A wide collection of Ganesha paintings is available in the gallery. Young artists can display their work here and can get substantial amounts for their work in return. Sculptures, graphics, drawings and paintings, moulds of all types, design and shapes, inscriptions, stencil art, photographs and prints, contemporary art work is placed here.
History
The Gallerie Ganesha was started by Shobha Bhatia in the year 1989 and she guarantees to offer decent prices to any buyer or collector thereby drawing adequate remuneration for the artists. She believes that gallery plays a part in reducing the gap between creativity and art enthusiasts.
The Gallerie exhibits paintings, sculptures, graphic work of some renowned artists like Ganesh Pyne, Akbar Padamsee, Kavita Deuskar, Chippa Sudhakar, K.S.Kulkarni, Jogen Choudhary, Manu Parekh, Neeraj Goswami, Yashpal Chandrakar, Paresh Maity, Thota Vaikuntham, Sunil Das and Samindranath Majumdar.
In the year 2014 Gallerie displayed India Art Fair 2014, Meditative Hues exhibition by Niti Jain, the 4th Edition of India’s Modern and Contemporary Art Fair, Root Routes, Satish Chandra, Creative Contours, Undertones work by Mohan Singh, Enchanted Dialect, Anatomy of a city, Abstract Recensions, Mirage by Mohan Singh, and Graphically Speaking.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of Gallerie Ganesha is to encourage and support young and upcoming artists, also to increase visibility and exposure of the artwork amongst public and to create awareness about fine arts. The gallery also gives opportunity to senior artists of olden times whose work has gone unobserved due to unavailability of art galleries and media inattentiveness. The gallery’s objective is to provide a stage between the art lovers and the artists.
Collections
The gallery will be hosting Exhibition – Identity proclaimed from 12th March to 15th April 2015 with paintings by various artists. Currently the work displayed in the gallery are made by artists - Jayasri Burman, Ramananda Bandyopadhyay, Maya Burman, Arpana Caur, Shyamal Duttaray, Suhas Roy, Devdatta Padekar, A. Ramachandran, and Babu Xavier and others.

There is no entry fee for visitors who want to go and see the drawings and paintings.
How to Reach
The nearest metro station is Kailas Colony from where the Gallerie Ganesha is a ten minutes auto drive.
Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station is the nearest junction to reach Gallerie Ganesha. Approximately 14 kilometers away from Gallerie Ganesha is Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi.
