Major Temples in Delhi

Akshardham Temple Delhi

This Lakshmi Narayan Mandir is located towards the western direction of Connaught Place, New Delhi. In 1928, Raja Baldev Das constructed this temple for Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. Chhatarpur Mandir

This Mandir is located about 4 km from popular Qutub Minar, Mehrauli, Delhi. This beautiful Chhatarpur Mandir is constructed based on both North Indian and South Indian architecture. Gauri Shankar Temple

The oldest structure of this Kalka Ji Mandir dates back to 1764 to 1771 when Marathi rulers ruled this place. During the middle of 19th century, they carried out some additions and renovation at this temple.

Lotus Temple

This temple is located towards the southeast direction of Connaught Place at a distance of about 12 km. This is one among the highly splendid architectural temple in Delhi which got its name because of its structure. They completed this temple during 1986 at the height of approximately 40 m.

Sheetla Devi Temple

This temple is situated in a suburb of Gurgaon region, Haryana. Standing beside a pond, this temple is devoted to the great Mata Sheetla Devi. This can also be referred as ‘Shakti Peeth’ and is one among the highly sacred pilgrimage for Hindus.

Sri Digambar Jain Mandir Delhi

This Mandir is located just opposite to Delhi’s Red Fort. This is one among the oldest Mandirs in Delhi which dates back to rule of Aurangzeb, the Mughal Emperor. Originally this Delhi Sri Digambar Jain Lal temple was constructed in the year 1658 A.D.
