Children Park

Children’s Park is spread across an area of approximately 10 acres and lies close to the Grand India Gate in the national capital territory of Delhi.

There are a number of swings, see-saws and slides in the park, which makes it a special attraction amongst children. The park is surrounded by beautiful and well-maintained green lawns, which provide ideal relaxing grounds to the visitors.

Another attraction of the park is an aquarium within the park that attracts visitors. There is also an old library in the premises of the park, which adds to the charm of the place and is a must visit. A wonderful musical fountain creates a beautiful atmosphere when it goes off in the evening and is an added attraction.

Meant exclusively for children, the park also houses a jungle book theatre and an amphitheatre. Renovated in 2002, the park continues to have a good assortment of entertainment for children.

Apart from the numerous swings for the kids, there is also garden gym for adults, making this place an ideal hangout for the entire family.

Best Time to Visit

The park can be visited throughout the day but the best time is during the evening when the park is beautifully illuminated, thus providing a really spectacular view.

How to Reach

Accessible by both public as well as private transport, this park is easily accessible. The nearest metro station is at Khan Market (Violet Line), while Patel Chowk metro station is also convenient. Being adjacent to India Gate, Children’s Park is conveniently located.
