Ingredients for Chemmeen Kari
- 250 g - Prawns (chemmeen)
- 1 tsp - Chilli powder
- ½ tsp - Turmeric powder
- 2 tsp - Coriander powder
- ½ tsp - Pepper powder
- A pinch - Crushed ginger
- 2 pods - Garlic
- 4 to 5 - Green chilli
- 2 tsp - Coconut oil
- Curry leaves
- Mustard oil
- 2 or 3 - Coccum (kudampuli)
- 1 tsp - Cumin (roasted and powdered)
- Salt (As per your taste)
How to make Chemmeen Kari
- In a glebe pan, boil water and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, cut pieces of green chillies, and crushed ginger and coccum. Heat it for some time.
- Now add prawns into it and close the pan. Now open the pan and crushed garlic into the boiling ingredients. Now mix the pepper powder and keep stirring it well.
- In another pan, heat oil and drop the some mustard and curry leaves and stirring it continuously. We can use add this on the top of the made prawns.
