The Sholavaram lake is located between 13°13'25"N  and 80°8'26"E. The Sholavaram town is on the border of Thiruvallur district and Chennai district. The Sholovaram town, which is 24 km from Chennai,  is mainly famous for Sholavaram lake and motor racing. The Sholavaram lake is a great picnic spot for all.
