Dhauli Nag Temple
Dhauli Nag Temple is located in Vijaipur, Bageshwar which is in Uttarakhand. The temple is at a walking distance from Vijaipur. Dhauli means dhawal i.e. ‘white’. Thus, the white colored snake symbolizes Lord Vishnu’s avatar from the snake family. Numerous nag temples are located in the region, but Dhauli Nag Temple is one of the popular temples. Numerous devotees visit the beautiful place every year. The temple has architecture in the Northen style.
This temple is on the edge at affording beautiful and stunning views of nature’s charisma. The temple is a serene place that freshens up visitors with charming views of the wonderful Himalaya. The place nearby is well known for tea garden, created by the British. This serene place is rich in flora and fauna. History
The history of the temple is not known clearly. Local people say that the temple is too old. It is also said that one of Nepali king offered silver bells in the year 0986.

At the Navratri festival, numerous people visit the temple. Panchmi Mela is a very famous festival celebrated over here.

The Dhaulinag temple is located about 1.5 kilometers from Vijaipur, which is 25 kilometers away from the Bageshwar district of Uttrakhand.
