West Bengal is one of the oldest states in the country and some of the old values still hold good. Physically visiting the banks is one of the activities that have come down to a great extent today, due to the presence of internet and mobile banking. However, there are many nationalised and private sector banks in the state, to cater to the needs of the aged account holders. Many banks like SBI, PNB, OBC, HDFC, ICICI, UCO, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas and Vijaya Bank are found here. SBI is located in around 20 cities, PNB is located in 19 cities and HDFC Bank is located in around 58 cities of the state.
