Kiliyur Falls
Kiliyur falls located in the Eastern Ghats in Tamil Nadu present a picturesque and quaint view of the water falling from 300 feet. The water that overflows Yercaud Lake falls in the Kiliyur valley and thus, forming the Kiliyur falls.
These falls present a breathtaking site during monsoon when the water levels are at its peak. The best time to visit these falls is right after monsoon.

Kiliyur falls are located in Shervaroyan range near Salem in the Eastern Ghats of Tamil Nadu. These falls are situated at a distance of about 2.5 Km from Yercaud Lake and the water overflowing the lake composes these stunningly beautiful falls.

Though site seeing is the primary activity once can indulge in, when at Kiliyur falls. These falls lie at a distance of about 2.5 Km from Yercaud Lake and once can also do trekking to reach the falls as the final 500 m on the way to falls are composed of a rough unpaved steep pathway.

By Air
The nearest airport to Kiliyur falls is located in Trichy located at a distance of approx 180 Kms. Once you reach here, it’s a 3 hours drive by taxi to the Kiliyur falls. You can also board a bus to Salem, and then to Kiliyur falls.
By Road
The nearest city to Kiliyur falls is Salem which is located at a distance of about 31 Km from them. Thus, after reaching Salem, one can hire a taxi or board a bus in order to visit the Kiliyur falls. Salem is well connected with other major cities of South India such as Mumbai, Madurai, Tiruchi, Chennai, Bangalore and Coimbatore etc.

The nearest rail head to Kiliyur Falls is located in Salem at a distance of about 35 Km from the falls.
