Ayyanar falls are located in Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar District of Tamil Nadu. Perched in the Western Ghats, these falls get their water source majorly during northeast monsoon rain. The water in these falls fall from a height of 15 feet.

These falls have derived their name from a small forest temple located besides the falls. The name of the temple is Ayyanar temple and thus, the falls have also acquired the same name.
