Kamarajar Mani Mantapa Monument has been created in the memory of Late Kamaraj, the three times Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Some rare picture of Kamaraj can be seen in this monument. The monument is located in Kanyakumari.

History

Given the popularity of Kamaraj, the Kamaraj Mani Mantapa Monument was chosen by the government to keep the ashes of Late Kamaraj for public to pay homage before they were immersed in the sea.

Architecture

The dome shaped monument is a key attraction for the tourists who visit the place in large numbers. A gold plated statue of the late Tamil leader also adorns the monument complex.

By Air

By Road
