District Information Offices

Rajasthan, the state of culture and tradition consists of 33 districts each of which is managed by the All India as well as state appointed officials. Their responsibility is to handle the problems faced by the people and provide them a safe environment to live here.  The All India officials usually include a Superintendent of Police selected from the Indian Police Service, District Magistrate who is appointed through the Indian Administrative Service and Deputy Conservator of Forests. These are assisted by the state officials who work hand in hand to resolve any issue arising within the state and resolving it as soon as possible. The state officials are entrusted with the responsibility of handling the areas like education, health, agriculture etc.

Every state official is responsible for their district which in turn is managed by a Deputy Commissioner who is also the Collector as well as the District Magistrate. While working on the post of a Deputy Commissioner, he has to handle multiple duties in one time. He is also the District Magistrate which means that all law related issues will be solved by him thus ensuring that rules and regulations are followed properly. As a Chief Revenue Officer, collecting the revenues is also a part of their responsibility. The Superintendent of Police takes charge of the police administration and works in coordination with other officials.
