Passenger Reservations and Cancellation

For bookings on Deccan Odyssey, reservations and cancellations are done as per the conditions and terms as follows.

Booking

• At the booking time, 25% of ticket charges are to be paid.
• Remaining 75% has to be paid 45 days prior to the day of starting the travel.

Cancellation

• For cancellations, one can use email, fax or giving a letter to Travellers Hub Pvt. Ltd.
• If cancellation request is done prior to 60 days of the travel, then the return value would be 10% of the ticket charges.
• Within 45-69 days, the cancellation would remit an amount equal to 25% of the ticket charges.
• 40% of money is paid if request for cancellation is done 24-44 days prior to the start of journey.
• For cancellations received 8-23 days before the date of departure, 60% of the ticket charges is to be paid.
• Total ticket charges are paid, if the cancellation is done within or any day before 7 days of travel.

Terms and Conditions

• Discount of 50% is given on tickets booked for children within 5 to 12 years. Less than 5 year kids can travel on trains free of cost. For this purpose, age proof is mandatory to be submitted for the kids when booking tickets.
• During the occasion of New Year and Christmas, surcharge of 10% extra is levied.
• For any ticket, the service tax applicable is 3.09% on the total price
• Journey charges may change anytime which will be borne by the travelers.
