Rock Climbing And Trekking

Rock Climbing is one of the most adventurous and daring activities which involves the participant to climb a wall or even a rock and come back from it. The ultimate aim is to touch the summit of the artificial setup or the rock without slipping off it. But the climb doesn’t end there, for a person to have successfully completed the climb; he/she must also get down safely. Considering the elements of risk involved, it would only be fair to assert with experience that most accidents occur on the descent.  There are different setups for each competition. Sometimes, it involves participants reaching the furthest point or to reach a particular point in the quickest time.

Generally speaking, a trek can be understood as an adventurous and arduous journey on foot through challenging terrain and particularly through terrain that is inaccessible by vehicles or by any mode of transport. The word mountaineering is different from trekking. The etymology of the word dates back to Afrikaans which means Trek as a Pull Journey. Later it was adapted in the English Language.

This earth that we live in is blessed with innumerable spots of utmost natural, visual and scenic beauty. Many amongst them are still waiting in eagerness to be discovered by the souls of mankind. Trekking is a perfect approach to reach and get close and personal with nature through manually and explicitly drawing oneself closer to the nature. Hence one may even think of trekking as an adventure tour to such spots. Bungee, Rafting etc can also be considered a part of these trekking tours. These tours are full of advantage for the humans, both mentally and physically. They not only help you indulge in physical activity but also enable you to escape the polluted atmosphere of the urban Diasporas.
