Magod Falls

The various waterfalls formed by the waters of Bedti River are named as Magod waterfalls. This waterfall falls from the height of 200 meters at two different levels. The waterfall is situated at a distance of 17 km from Yellapur town in Uttara Kannada district. This place is surrounded by various lakes. This place has also been listed as the paradise for the trekker’s. This place is also an ideal place to spend some quality time with family by celebrating the family picnic. Travelling to the Magod waterfalls also comprises of a very mesmerizing lake named “Kavade Kere” that is spread on 60 acres of area.

The waterfalls are easily accessible by travelling through comfortable roads by means of tough and robust vehicles since the entire route to the waterfalls is through mountain landscape.

The other places that can be visited while visiting the Magod falls are Jenukallugudda that is also referred to as honey rock hill. View of the sunset from this place is very soothing to eyes. The other tourist place named Kavadikere is located at distance of 8 km from Yellapur is known for its beautiful large lake.
