Lalguli Falls

The waterfall of Lalguli is situated in the district Uttara Kannada and is at a distance of 13 km from Yellapur. The water in this fall falls from height of 250 feet and gives eye catching view. There are many torrents also that flow near to this fall and these torrents are at different heights ranging from 61 meter to 91 meter. A temple devoted to Lord Hanuman is located in the vicinity of the waterfalls on top of the hill.

The waterfall is fed from the waters of River Kali and flows through a rocky terrain that is also green and lush. The sound of the waterfall is very pleasing to ears. This place has been listed as an appropriate place for spending pleasant time during vacations.

The waterfall can be visited any time during the year yet the most favorable time to visit the scenic waterfall is during the season of winter to have its magnificent view. The visitors can experience rich flora and fauna in this are in winters. The sunrise view is most enchanting at this waterfall. The visit to this waterfall must be avoided during monsoon season.
