Manasa Amusement Park is spread out over 15 acres of land which is located at 12 km form Mangalore within the locality of Pilikula Nisarga Dhama. This is promoted by GM Amusement and Leisure Park Ltd and is an ideal picnic spot for both children and adults. The spot is full of fun and leisure and also approved by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Karnataka.

Locations

Manasa Amusement & Water Park is like a heaven on earth which is nestled with sparkling, cool, calm and lush greenery. It is just 12 km away from Mangalore city as well as Mangalore International Airport. It takes approximately 15 minutes to reach the park from the city centre. This park is suitable for Water Park and amusement as it contains natural landscape which has lot of ground water source which is required for Water Park. Park is also well connected through roads.

Facilities

A large number of visitors can be handled by Manasa Amusement and Water Park as the management is well equipped. Following are some of the facilities offered to the visitors:

  • As 10,000 visitors are expected by the park every day, a specialized parking facility is been provided by Pilikula Nisarga Dhama.
  • The park also contains toilets for males, females and handicapped. Special arrangements are made for handicapped people.
  • Public telephone booths are made available for the convenience of the visitors.
  • With the help of wheel chair, management has designed an easy facility for the access of handicapped people.
  • Immediate First aid service is provided to the customers in case contingencies. Eben doctors are made available on call.
  • Locker facility is made available in the park to ensure the safety of the customers’ valuables.
  • Guest can now hire swimming wear such as caps, goggles, costumes and bath towels at nominal fee.
  • You can also capture the dazzling moments on the film which can be cherished in future. Just call our onsite videographer or photographer to record your happy moments.
  • Rest areas for senior citizen are made available for the customers.

Tips for Visitors

Following are some to the tips and safety measures for the guest visiting the parks.

  • The park tickets are valid only on the date on which it is issued. It is neither transferrable nor refundable.
  • Manasa is opened all days in a week. It can be shut down for major repairs or maintenance which will be notified in advance.
  • Re entry to the park is not allowed.
  • If some of the rides are not operational due to break down, unforeseen circumstances or maintenance, tickets will not be refunded.
  • The management has the right to admission.
  • Visitors are not allowed to carry any arms and ammunitions in the park although they can deposit it to the management and obtain permission.
  • Visitors are not allowed to carry pets in the parks as well as products like pan, alcohol, gutka, narcotic drugs are not allowed in the park.
  • Once the visitor leaves the park, he needs to buy a fresh ticket for re entry.
  • Items left in lockers are responsibility of the visitors, management will not be responsible for any losses.
  • Hypertensions, heart patients, pregnant women and blood pressure patients are advised not to use the rides without taking appropriate opinion from your doctor as management will not take any responsibility of mishappening.
  • Outside food is not allowed in the park.
  • After paying certain fees while entering the park, visitors are then allowed to click photographs and videos for personal use but should not use these pictures for publicity, commercial exploitation etc.
  • Kids and handicapped people should be accompanied by a responsible adult who can constantly supervise them.
  • Visitors are requested to handover all the items, objects or valuable found in the park to the lost and found counter.
  • Visitors under the influence of drugs and alcohol will not be allowed in the park.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the park.
  • Before entering the water pools and slides, taking a shower is compulsory. To enter the water park nylon costumes are recommended.
  • While using the slides, burkha, lungi, saree and nighty are strictly prohibited. Visitors are requested to strictly follow the dress code as failure in following the rules may led to severe injury.
  • Guest re requested to follow the instruction given by the operators and visitors should be aware as they will be sliding at their own risk.

How to Reach

Mangalore city is well connected by roads and railways. Various auto services are made available for the visitors from Varamjoor. At the same time, many travel agencies conduct cost effective priced tours daily. Visitors can also travel through various modes of transport like bus, cars, cabs and auto. Parking facility is been provided by the park for the convenience of the visitors.

By Road

Visitors may use the bus service which is operated to and fro from Pilikula and if you are planning to take a city bus you need to route no 3, 3A, 3B, 3C. Service buses plying to Karkala which are via Moodbiri passes on NH-13 via Varamjoor. From Varamjoor, it is about 1.25 km to reach Manasa Amusement Park and Water Park.

By Air

Visitors can now reach the Manasa Amusement Park with an ease as Mangalore airport is the nearest airport at the distance of 4 km.

By Rail

The nearest railway station to Manasa Amusement Park is Mangalore Central Train station which is at the distance of 9.2 km from the park.
