Jog Falls, Shimoga

This famous waterfall is one of the landmark destinations of Karnataka. It is located at about 100km from Karnataka and among all the waterfalls that don’t have layers in the country, Jog Falls is the tallest. The major highlight of this falls is that you can walk down the entire length of this falls which takes around 30 minutes. Easily accessible by public transport, Jog Falls is best visited just after the monsoon season, because this is when the water is in full flow.

Udipi Shri Krishna Temple

Sri Krishna temple is located at Udipi and it dates back to over 1500years. The entire temple is made from wood and is one of the main places to engage your day in the state when you come here with an idea of pilgrimage. When you come here, do not miss to take a darshan of the Lord through the nine-holed window known as Navagraha Kitiki.  It is on top of the must-see list of temples of Krishna devotees all over the country and abroad.

Murudeshwara
