Location

Ullal is basically a fishing village located at a distance of about 12 Km from Mangalore on the southern banks of Netravati River. The distance of Ullal beach from Bangalore is about 360 Km.

Someshwara Beach

Located at the confluence of the Arabian Sea and Netravati River, Someshwara beach is an iconic place to witness a breathtaking g sunset. The crystal clear water, golden sands and coconut palms make this beach a perfect place to unwind yourself. It is located a distance of only a few kilometers from Ullal beach.

Queen Abbakka’s Fort at Ranipura

The other attractions of Ullal beach include Queen Abbakka’s Fort at Ranipura. This architecture marvel was once a renowned fort in the Ulla region. Even today, the ruins of this fort can be seen in the vicinity of colossal Someshwara Temple.

By Air

Mangalore airport, located at a distance of about 30 Km from Ullal beach is the nearest air link.

By Rail

The nearest railway station to Ullal beach is Mangalore railway station located at a distance of about 13 Km. After reaching the railway station, you can hire cars or taxis to reach the beach.

By Road

The beach which lies at a distance of 12 Km from Mangalore is easily accessible by road.  Mangalore is well connected by many other cities through a well developed network of roads, and one can easily find buses from Bangalore and Mumbai to reach Mangalore. The nearest bus station to Ullal is just 1 Km away and is located in the Ullal village.
