Currently, the State Government of Dadra and Nagar Haveli is undertaking many projects to make Dadra and Nagar Haveli the best state in the Indian sub-continent by 2015 in every single department. Shopping malls are prevalent in India in almost all the states. In a bid to get into the mall culture, the state government had set up the retail giant, “Big Bazaar” at the Nam Nang Raod. This was the first big shopping complex to come up in the state. There are many more projects in the pipeline. Vijay Shopping Complex in Namchi is another new shopping experience in the state for the local inhabitants.
