Dadra and Nagar Haveli is home to quite a few nationalised and private sector banks. These banks offer various services like loans and deposits for the benefit of the citizens of the state. They are also come in as handy sources of help for tourists coming here in large numbers. Currently, there are around 27 banks that have branches in the state’s capital. Most of these are nationalised banks. These nationalised banks alone have about 35 branches in Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Some of these banks are HDFC, IDBI, SBI, Central Bank of India, Andhra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Dena Bank, Allahabad Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India etc.
