The Thunder Zone Amusement Park has been in operation since 15th May 2002. It is not only the biggest amusement park in Chandigarh, but one of the biggest in the entire North India. Situated on a sprawling land of 11 acres, this amusement park is quite close to the main cities. It is just 4km away from Mohali and 13km from Chandigarh. There are huge expanses of green and scenic lawns all over. There are lots of sources of entertainment within this park with the amazing water rides and amusement rides. There are around 12 rides within the park that are very high on the thrill – quotient. There are 4 water pools inside this park where guests spend their time, splashing and playing away to glory.

Thunder Zone Amusement Park is technologically very sophisticated and contains all the latest sources of entertainment. The major attraction here is the Waves-n-Swings, which is created in such a way that it produces waves that resemble those of the original sea. These waves that keep swinging in a rhythmic fashion attract kids and adults to a great extent. Another section that attracts all people, irrespective of their age, is the wet lake. It has some amazing rides and slides. Meals on Heal, Eats and Pizza Zone are some of the hygienic eating options for guests. This park is an absolute wonder as it offers triple pleasure to the guests in the form of an amusement park, a water park and a resort.

Adults need to pay Rs.250 for entry into the park and to enjoy the unlimited features that this park offers.

Rules and Regulations

The play zone in this water park is designed exclusively for kids who are aged between 2 to 12 years. Therefore, kids should be continuously under parent-supervision. Parents or guardians should always ensure that their kids are safe and secured.

• Use of playground equipment is at your own risk.
• No pushing, shoving or rough stuff.
• Only one child per swing at a time.
• No glass and bottles are allowed in the play area.
• No one over 12 is permitted to use play equipments.
• Children under age of 5 years must be accompanied by an adult.
• Use the equipment correctly for fun and safety.
